This week has been hectic.
On Tuesday the PTA started 'Trolley Tuesday" for the very first time. Students were able to purchase juices, as the day was hot many students brought the $1 needed to purchase them.
Throughout the week in classes teachers and students have been unpacking and teaching the school values. This involves understanding what expectations are both in the classroom and in the playground. Linked to this is our Gotcha reward system, which we have revamped after student input. Now all students automatically go in the weekly draw for a gotcha (this does not rely on teachers seeing them as many were missing out) and only those students who have a major incident or repeated minor incident miss out. We believe this will lead to more students being rewarded for making great decisions.
